Aberdeen’s Third Mixed Martial Arts Tournament

3rd July 2010 @ Hilton Treetops Hotel

UCS Promotions Ltd again extends it’s thanks to all the fighters, coaches, judges, timekeeper and Honour staff  that made our third tournament such a great success. The event was greatly helped by the wonderful appreciation of the crowd that cheered on the fighters! Greg ‘the MMA MC’ Houston was brilliant as usual! A big thanks to the girls from ‘Number 7′, who as always, added a touch of glamour and style to the event. It was their hard work that raised the money for the MacMillian Cancer Support – a big thanks girls! To team Recruitment for sponsoring the Andy Massie Memorial Trophy, it was wonderful to see his family there to see Andrew Kaisi (Team Jigoku) be the first to win the trophy that is now a mainstay of Honour. Also thanks to Kevin Birse Joinery Services Ltd and Specialist Firecoat Systems for sponsoring fights. Nikita Kozhemyaka won the Jon Bluming Kokoro ‘Best Spirit’ Award (how did he get out of that arm bar?).

Winner: Cabrera, Opponent could not fight. A huge thanks to William for agreeing to give a young 18 year old Team Jigoku fighter James Meen a chance to fight in the ring in an exhibition match.
